Dead Dog Classic, June 23, 2012

Had a wonderful time covering the annual Dead Dog Classic road race starting in the town of Albany west of Laramie. Men and women competed in three different distance races. The longest race is a trek over Snowy Range Pass which is one of the most breathtaking views I have ever seen. Groups of riders would take off from the start line in 10-minute intervals. I’ve covered this race several times now and still have yet to see a dead dog. ;)
